This week features three pictures of German Panther tanks destroyed or captured by the U.S. Army.

These photos are from the unit history of the 407th Infantry Regiment, part of the 102nd Infantry Division. The source was published by the unit in 1945, and unfortunately the photo quality is poor.

The captions do not identify a location, but the text suggests the location is near Fallersleben, where on April 21, 1945 the 407th Infantry fought an armored force with 10 "Mark V" tanks.
